Triggered by the need for a more dynamic network, Infoblox (News - Alert) Inc., has improved upon its existing IP network services appliances by making new energy-efficient hardware platforms available for its automated network control solutions.
The new generation Trinzic offer a wide range of models that are purpose-built, high-performance hardware devices capable of catering to small and large enterprises. They can enhance the performance, security, reliability, scalability and management capabilities of IP network services, according to company officials.
A huge plus point is that these devices can operate as standalone or integrate with previous Infoblox platforms that exist in some customer installations.
"Appliance-based delivery of IP network services, such as domain name resolution and IP address assignment, has become an industry best practice for any size organization," says Kevin Dickson, vice president of Product Management at Infoblox, in a press release.
The appliances are stated to be compliant with environmental standards and have consumption and cooling features that make them energy-efficient. As they are capable of monitoring power, temperature and CPU usage issues remotely and also sending relevant alerts, maintenance and operations are cost-effective. In addition, the appliances are considered to be highly stable and reliable with redundancy of components.
Price ranges for the new platforms are now available for the Americas, Asia Pacific and EMEA countries.
In other news, Infoblox Inc., announced its new Channel Invest & Profit program designed to empower Infoblox channel partners to maximize profit associated with today’s pressing enterprise IT initiatives, including virtualization, cloud, data center consolidation, security, compliance and Ipv6-readiness.
